I started taking lemon balm at the recommendation of a TCM doctor. She had recommended it throughout the day to deal with stress, but I find this tincture too strong for use during the day. I take one dropperful at night, and it helps me sleep but doesn’t knock me out. Two droppersful is too much for me – although it certainly helps ensure an even better night’s sleep, I always wake up with a drowsy hangover in the morning when I take more than one, so to me it’s not worth the deeper sleep. The taste of this tincture is reasonably pleasant with just a bit of water in the mouth.
